Goraka, also known as Garcinia cambogia, is a souring agent native to Sri Lanka and central to the island's classic fish ambulthiyal — a dry, tangy, black-peppered fish curry. Its sharp sour flavour is distinct from tamarind or lime, and we offer it both as dried whole pieces and ground into powder.
