Black peppercorns are the world's most traded spice, and Sri Lanka has grown fine pepper for centuries. We offer whole black peppercorns (best ground fresh at the table) and ready-ground black pepper powder for everyday cooking. Whole peppercorns hold their volatile oils far longer than pre-ground pepper, so if you cook often, buying whole and grinding as needed gives a noticeably sharper, fresher heat. We also carry green peppercorns — the same fruit picked earlier, before it ripens and dries black.
