Return & Refund Policy
We take great pride in the quality of our Ceylon spices and products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our policy below.
1. Return Eligibility
You may request a return or refund under the following conditions:
- The product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
- The product does not match the description on our website.
- The package arrived in a significantly deteriorated condition due to shipping mishandling.
The following are NOT eligible for return:
- Products that have been opened, used, or consumed.
- Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery.
- Change of mind or personal preference after delivery.
- Perishable items that have passed their best-before date after delivery.
2. Return Window
- All return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order for local (Sri Lanka) deliveries.
- For international orders, return requests must be submitted within 14 days of confirmed delivery.
- Requests submitted outside these windows will not be accepted.
3. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please:
- Email us at info@ceylonspicehaven.lk with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs of the damaged or incorrect product.
- Our team will review your request within 2 business days and provide further instructions.
- Do not ship any product back without receiving written confirmation and a return authorisation from us.
4. Refund Process
- Once your return is approved and the product is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5–10 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (PayHere or PayPal).
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- For international orders, currency conversion differences at the time of refund are not our responsibility.
5. Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. If you need a different product, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
6. Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives visibly damaged, please:
- Photograph the outer packaging and the product immediately upon receipt.
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the photographs and your order number.
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
